YAY yay yay!

zoe’s recheck on saturday morning resulted in good news, for once! the abscess seems to finally be empty of any infected pus and dead tissue, and appears to be healing up! josh and i no longer have to flush it out, we just have to keep her in fresh bandages each day and let the skin close and heal. she has one (hopefully) last recheck next saturday. if all goes well with that, then she’ll just need to finish off her antibiotics (about two weeks more,) and then we can begin to re-bond zoe with her sister. so, zoe is now back at home with josh. :] i’ll miss having her next to me all the time, but i’m so, so glad that things are finally looking normal again. (plus, now i can clean my room up a bit like i’ve been meaning to do for weeks, and my bank account can refill a little more easily now that i won’t have constant vet/medication/supply bills to deal with.) oh, it’s been a good day.

sometime soon, i’d like to make thank you cards for both zoe’s recent vet, and the vet at the emergency clinic who referred us to her.

also: what is the deal with all this stuff happening in georgia really close to me lately that’s all over the national news? (the bus crash, the “barbie” bank robbers, etc.)

my birthday is coming up this month, sigh…25 already? SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM 30. but anyway, for my birthday, i think i’d like to finally go to the high to see the louvre partnership exhibit for this year. josh wants to see it, and so does my father.
