murphy’s computer
my CPU fan died again. well, i guess that’s what i get for buying a cheap chinese one (but it was all i could find on short notice that would actually FIT. damn you socket 478 urgh) luckily, my dad saved me from buying another one by giving me a nice, official intel heatsink off a motherboard he wasn’t using. hopefully this one will last me longer than a year. but all this is a reminder that i should really upgrade my computer one of these days…
then, when i booted everything back up, my wireless adapter was like HURRR INTERNET? IDK WHAT THAT IS. apparently the last time i shut down, my adapter program crashed and managed to wipe out my network profile. easy enough to fix, but i’m hoping my computer doesn’t have any more surprises in store for me, seeing how i have an art deadline coming up real soon. (i hope it won’t be long before i can post it! but for now it is a secret.)
also, iron man and the hulk were both very good. i liked iron man better, to be honest, because i absolutely loved all of tony stark’s witty dialogue. hulk had the better fighting, though (and oh, ed norton. <3) and the things both movies are hinting at…oooooh…but, i’m hoping this project doesn’t run out of steam. the spider-man and xmen movies started out great — then around #3 of each, sort of piddled out, did stupid things to all the characters, and closed themselves off to any good, further sequels…

Oh god, I could go on and on about Iron Man. RDJ was such a great choice for Tony Stark it’s not even funny.
I also recall hearing they totally didn’t go by the written script lines and ad-libbed a lot of the movie. Which I can totally see.
Iron Man osm-ness. I whole heartidly agree with yah :3
I hope your computer issue gets resolved ._.
